Closer Robotics to Exhibit at ROSCon JP 2025

Closer Inc. (Headquarters: Tsukuba, Ibaraki; CEO: Shota Higuchi; hereinafter “Closer Robotics”), a developer and provider of AI robots, will exhibit at ROSCon JP 2025, to be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Portmesse Nagoya Convention Center.

About ROSCon JP 2025

“ROSCon JP” is the official Japan edition of the international ROS developer conference “ROSCon.” It is co-hosted by ROSCon JP Association and Open Robotics, and is one of the largest ROS community events in Japan. The conference brings together a wide range of ROS developers—from beginners to experts—and serves as a platform to share the latest advancements in robotics development using ROS through technical talks, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Background and Purpose of Participation

Closer Robotics is committed to researching and developing next-generation robots that contribute to solving social issues. In our development process, we focus on system design with practical deployment in mind, using Python and C++ as core languages while leveraging ROS where appropriate.

Through this exhibition, our goals are to showcase robots developed using ROS and to foster deeper technical exchanges with engineers and researchers from across Japan.

  • Introduction to Robot Development: Panel exhibition featuring case studies of development in food factories

I want to see the robot in person.
Currently, it is only available at our headquarters in Japan. If you are based overseas, please contact us for an online demo. We will customize the robot's programming to suit your needs and have it ready within 7 days.
