Fukushima Tech Create 2024 Results Presentation Event
株式会社Closer (Closer Inc., CEO: Shota Higuchi, Headquartered in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, hereafter "Closer") has been selected for the FY2023 Fukushima Tech Create (Innovation Creation Platform Project) Acceleration Program, hosted by Fukushima Prefecture and the Fukushima Innovation Coast Core Promotion Organization.
Furthermore, on January 31 and February 1, 2024, Shota Higuchi, the representative of Closer, presented at the "Fukushima Tech Create 2024 Results Presentation Event."
Objective
The program aims to support various challenges in the Fukushima Innovation Coast region (15 cities and towns in the Hamadori region of Fukushima Prefecture, referred to as the "Innovation Region"). By leveraging seeds, resources, and research outcomes from the Innovation Region, and by collaborating with businesses and other entities within the region, the program provides specialized support for startups and individuals seeking to establish and expand new businesses. This support includes acceleration, innovation creation grants, and assistance from Fukushima Tech Create supporters, all aimed at achieving early business stabilization.
Overview
This program is operated by Livenes Inc., which was selected by the Fukushima Innovation Coast Core Promotion Organization for the FY2023 Fukushima Innovation Creation Platform Project.
The program targets early-stage businesses and entrepreneurs aiming to develop business in the key fields of the Fukushima Innovation Coast initiative: "Decommissioning," "Robotics & Drones," "Energy, Environment & Recycling," "Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries," "Medical," and "Aerospace," as well as "Social & Regional Issues." It supports early-stage business creation, stabilization, and practical application of seeds.
Innovation Region in Fukushima Prefecture
The Innovation Region refers to 15 cities and towns in the Hamadori area of Fukushima Prefecture: Iwaki City, Soma City, Tamura City, Minamisoma City, Kawamata Town, Hirono Town, Naraha Town, Tomioka Town, Kawauchi Village, Okuma Town, Futaba Town, Namie Town, Katsurao Village, Shinchi Town, and Iitate Village.
