Closer, an AI robotics venture spun off from the University of Tsukuba (Headquarters: Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, CEO: Shota Higuchi), specializing in developing robotic systems to supplement labor in the challenging automation sectors of the food and cosmetics industries, will be exhibiting at the 2022 International Robot Exhibition held at Tokyo Big Sight from March 9 to 12, 2022.

Booth Location: East Hall 5, E5-51

We will showcase our robotic systems designed for the food and cosmetics industries.

Our unique robot controller integrates AI image processing, robot control, and a mobile interface into a single module, achieving:

  1. Compact Size: The system is as compact as a human and can be directly integrated into existing lines without installation work.
  2. Optimization: With a simple system structure, smooth test implementation is possible, significantly reducing costs.
  3. Scalability: Software updates allow for additional features post-installation, accommodating automation for multiple food types.

  • Loading and collection of food on conveyors
  • Loading and collection of food on packaging machines
  • Packaging of cosmetics

    The system effectively complements labor for various simple tasks.

I want to see the robot in person.
Currently, it is only available at our headquarters in Japan. If you are based overseas, please contact us for an online demo. We will customize the robot's programming to suit your needs and have it ready within 7 days.
