Limited-time Exhibition of the Compact Collaborative Palletizing Robot "Palletizy™" at Prologis Park Koga 4 (Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture) on June 26th (Wed) and 27th (Thu), 2024
■Logistics Industry Reforms Due to the 2024 Problem
The "2024 Problem," resulting from the implementation of the Work Style Reform-related Law, is significantly impacting not only transportation companies and shippers but also warehouses, the core of logistics. Severe labor shortages are advancing in warehouse operations, and although there are differences depending on the scale of the warehouse and the volume of cargo handled, many companies are working to improve operational efficiency. This trend is expected to accelerate further in the future.
■Palletizy™
Palletizy™ is a compact collaborative palletizing robot that automates the task of stacking cardboard boxes. It is equipped with the "AutoLayout" feature, which automatically generates stacking layouts and layer configurations by simply inputting the sizes of the cardboard boxes and pallets.

■Overview of the AutoLayout Feature
Traditional palletizing robots required technicians with specialized knowledge to use a teaching pendant for setting up the stacking patterns. However, with the new AutoLayout feature, teaching work is no longer necessary, and anyone can easily generate stacking patterns automatically from a smartphone-like interface.
By just entering the sizes of the cardboard boxes and pallets, multiple stacking layouts are automatically generated and recommended, making it easy to operate the robot.

We hope that this private viewing will provide logistics and shipping companies with an opportunity to feel closer to using robots as a solution to their challenges.
