Shota Higuchi, the representative of Closer, will be participating in the "Special Program STAPA TALK - Talk Event by Past Awardees" at the live viewing of the final review meeting for the 2021 Tsukuba Society 5.0 Social Implementation Trial Support Project, which will be held on September 15 (Wednesday).
The final review (public presentation) of the 2021 Tsukuba Society 5.0 Social Implementation Trial Support Project will feature a special YouTube program, STAPA TALK - a talk event with past awardees. This event will showcase live talks from previous awardees, discussing their cutting-edge and unique technologies and business models, as well as the impact and benefits of being selected for this project.

Speakers:
- Guest: Yona Taga from Reber Co., Ltd. After graduating from Tsukuba University, Taga worked on water supply facility construction projects in South Sudan and Uganda as a development consultant. She joined Reber Co., Ltd. in January 2018 and has been involved in providing Reber’s services to various institutions, including municipalities, companies, hospitals, and schools.
- Shota Higuchi, Representative of Closer Born in 1997. After graduating from Nagaoka Institute of Technology, Higuchi is currently pursuing a master's degree at Tsukuba University’s Graduate School of System and Information Engineering. At Closer, he focuses on developing robot systems and services that can replace simple tasks in food production lines and be implemented in a short period. He began robot development in elementary school, won the RoboCup World Championship in 2017, and the RoboCup Asia-Pacific Championship. He is a third-year student of the Masayoshi Son Foundation, and has received numerous awards including the Special Award from the Chairman of the National Institute of Technology and the James Dyson Award.
